Wangguri Dhukurrurru (#144-19)

This dhukurrurru (sacred rock) is at the mouth of the Djaran-gurrk or Mayang river. It stands in the water close to the homeland of Dhalinbuy, country belonging to the Wangguri Munyarriyun clan. The dhukurrurru is adorned with miny’tji (designs) depicting gapu moṉuk gularri (mixing fresh and salt water).
