Description
In this artwork Indjapana (the dolphin) is swimming around Marnarrmala or Gubaguba on Guyula Djambarrpuyngu country east of Galiwin’ku (Elcho Island). He also travels west to Gorriyindi country, near Rapuma Island close to Milingimbi, and changes his name to Maṉba. The jagged vertical and horizontal lines represent the different currents that Indjapana swims through on his journey west.
